SPHOORTI lays great emphasis on providing a very healthy diet to the children. Healthful food builds children who think more clearly, are less prone to illness and are stronger and lead longer and healthier lives. The table shows the diet regime we follow for our children. The diet plan has been suggested by a nutrition expert.

Notes
Inputs of Vitamins through carrots and Dexorange syrup
On Sundays, children have special breakfast like idli, poori or upma
Children have boiled egg every day in the morning and milk after dinner
Dinner is served at 6pm and milk at 8pm
Porridge is made from a mixture of Raagi powder, wheat flour, crushed ground nuts and jaggery
Deworming (albendazole tablets) for all children every six months                 

While eating food, we ensure the following
Children wash their hands with Dettol Handwash, plates and glasses before and after eating
Children take food with fingers; food doesn't touch the palm
Food is chewed at least thirty times before gulping
